I am applying for the role of Vice President as I believe I can contribute significantly to the growth of the society. My passion for EWB is strongly rooted in my participation in the Engineers Without Borders Design Challenge, where I had the opportunity to meet members of the committee. Seeing the time and effort they were willing to dedicate to the society had a strong impact on me and motivated me to become more involved.

By taking on a more active role in shaping the society, I want to help organise more meaningful events such as industry talks, networking opportunities, and skills-based competitions, including hackathons, that will give members a platform to showcase their creativity, creating opportunities that support students in developing towards their future careers.

In addition, I aim to strengthen connections with external organisations and alumni to create more opportunities for mentorship, insight, and collaboration. Internally, I want to support the committee in ensuring that ideas are not only discussed but executed effectively, while maintaining an inclusive and well-structured environment for all members.
