Hi, my name is Keno! I’m a first-year student nurse applying to be events officer. I’m applying this year to join committee as event officer to share my ideas to help improve KDS as a society but to also improve your experience as KDS members. I have some knowledge and experience in how KDS functions as I’m apart of core-group this semester and have taught and demo-ed in a couple tutorials, I’ve also competed in this year’s KPOP Nationals competition where our team won first place!

My goal in applying this year, is to enhance the role of events officer by organising a wider variety of events, that everyone can enjoy so you have a greater opportunity to interact with committee and get to know your fellow members more. I would like to increase collaborations with other societies and potentially do joint dance projects. I also want to allow you, as members, to share your ideas of any events you want to see, and I will do my very best to make it happen!

As committee my aims are to encourage more covers and other dance related material and promote them more on our social media accounts; to introduce semester evaluations, where you will be able to voice what KDS has done well and what needs to be improved on for next semester.
