Hey all,

I am excited to put forward my candidacy for the position of Events and Sponsorship Secretary for our lovely Gymnastics Society. My vision for this role is deeply rooted in fostering a supportive and inclusive environment where training, socials and events are accessible, fun and affordable for all members.

As your Events and Sponsorship Secretary, I am committed to maintaining our current sponsorships while actively seeking out new opportunities to further support our society. By securing sustainable partnerships I aim to alleviate financial burdens and ensure that every member can participate in training without hesitation (or at least get a few free water bottles).

I would like to organise fundraisers in both semesters, drawing upon my past experience where we successfully raised £484. With the focus of these events being inclusive and fun but also serve as occasions for our members to come together and strengthen our community bonds.

In addition, I recognise the importance of raising awareness about current events and campaigns within and outside the gymnastics community. I will work to ensure that all members are informed and involved in initiatives that align with our values, Such as Eating disorder wellness week, international woman's day and keep the opportunity for members to volunteer with Fareshare if they wish to.

Above all, I believe in putting the interests of our society members and committee at the forefront of my work. I am committed to listening to your needs, advocating for your concerns, and implementing strategies that benefit us collectively.

I am incredibly passionate about the Gymnastics Society and am eager to contribute my skills and dedication to further its success.
