Roles and Responsibilities of Welfare Rep:
- To be a point of contact for members to speak to about any issues and cause for concerns.
- To promote well-being.
- To represent the interest of students in welfare related issues.
- To be friendly and approachable with the ability to communicate well with others.
- To be willing to challenge opinion if necessary.
- Have a strong listening skill and the ability to deal with sensitive situations with empathy and integrity.
- Have an understanding of the importnace of confidentiality and when information may need to be shared.
