Hi, i'm Lisa! I am in my second year of studying English and Music, and as an aspiring editor and publisher, I would love to be your Deputy Editor for my final year!

I have spent this year being one of your Arts and Culture Sub-Editors, which I have thoroughly enjoyed, and has equipped me with the management, communication, and editing skills which would suit me to this role. I took on a leading role this year within my sub-section, by organising our email account, and ensuring me and my co-editors responded to emails as quickly as possible.

As someone with lots of hobbies and interests, I am interested in a vast array of topics, which means I read every article with a very keen and curious eye. My main goal as an editor is to maintain the writer's voice with as little interruption as possible, whilst also ensuring the article is accessible to readers, which is why my style of editing provides the writer with a multitude of suggestions instead of merely proof-reading the work.

As your Secretary I would establish an even more close-nit and welcoming environment to make sure Lippy remains a society as well as a Magazine. Inclusivity and comfort in personality are my key priorities, and I would love the opportunity to establish these further within Lippy!

Hi! My name is Georgia. I am a second-year student studying Fine Art with History of Art. I was Co-Head of Design this year and have loved working on the design team. Through this I have found and communicated with artists to find artwork for the magazine. I have worked to a strict time frame, as well as working closely with the editing team to ensure the magazine looks and reads well before print.

If I were to be Deputy Editor I would have a clear understanding of the design of the magazine and could offer support to the Head(s) of Design. Alongside this I am organised and love working to a schedule. I would work closely with the subeditors to edit the articles for the magazine and website. I would also like to work closely with the Welfare Officer to begin including Trigger Warnings on any articles that would require them; as we are newly SASHA accredited I think this would be a good step in supporting the welfare of our society.

I have loved being part of the Lippy Committee this year and would love to be part of it again in my final year!
