Having been a Club Rep last year, I already have a strong understanding of how the society operates, as well as experience communicating with LUU.

I would ensure strong communication between the society and LUU by promptly responding to emails and acting as a reliable point of contact.

I would prepare structured agendas to ensure meetings are focused and productive, and take clear notes so key points can be followed up.

Overall, I am enthusiastic about taking on a more active role within the committee. My previous experience as Club Rep, as well as organisational skills make me suitable to be Secretary.

I'm able to comprehend whether or not people should be on team or not, I think that I have the knowledge to determine the quality of team players and who should be playing. I am also able to communicate well and would be able to do so within the committee and LUU

Hi everyone! I am Chloe, a proud member of the badminton society and team! You may have seen me trying too hard at the Wednesday recreational sessions, chatting too much at socials, or just vibing on campus! I have a strong desire to maintain the legacy that was left behind by such a wonderful committee this year, and promote a fun and welcoming environment for everyone, whether you have never picked up a racket before or are trialling for the team.

I wish to keep the badminton society running as smoothly as possible, by enhancing the speed and efficiency of communication throughout the society with BUCS and LUU, and helping other committee members with the organisation of training sessions, events and socials. I will do whatever I can to keep products affordable too (with the help of my accounting and finance degree), and be around as often as possible to answer your questions and just be an additional friendly face at our sessions to listen to your ideas/concerns or respond to any queries you may have. I will always be there to guide you in the right direction if you are unsure where to go in your badminton journey.

The badminton society means everything to me. Without it, I would not have such a diverse network of friendships, nor would I have such easy access to regular training to improve my badminton! Therefore, I would like to be a part of committee to give back to you what the society has given me, and make sure you have the time of your life as a member. So what are you waiting for?
