Hi guys, I'm Colin, you guys might have seen me in both dev sessions and recreational. I'm going to be second year and have played badminton for 10+ years. This year I've been involved in many activities ran by the club and helped in some events. As someone who goes to recreational sessions, I am confident that I know what could be done better in these sessions. Please, vote for me and let me improve your experience while playing badminton and in continuing our lovely community.

I think I will be a class club rep as in this first year I've been an active society member at the socials and as part of the team in semester 2. I'd like to say I'm liked by the society and I've proven myself to be committed to all facets of the society's, as well as having a taste of leadership at the first development squad match against Leeds trinity. Plus I've got a loud enough voice to shout "change" at the rec sessions.

I love badminton and I will enjoy serving my fellow members at rec.

Hello! My name is Matthew Jerome and I’m applying to be a Club Rep in Badminton Soc for next year.

I’ve only been in the society since the start of this academic year, yet I have made so many new friends and had such a great time which I think is paramount to any member. From attending the weekly recreational sessions to dressing up and going out on Wednesdays, I have felt super involved in the society and would love to expand upon that by being a part of the committee.

I used to play badminton when I was younger and have just now restarted through the society, but I have sufficient experience of handling and setting up equipment in sessions. I also love playing with new people at the recreational sessions and feel confident that I’m approachable enough for people to come up to me with questions or just for a chat.

Thus, voting for me would ensure our recreational sessions will continue to operate efficiently and enjoyably for everyone next year!

I'm very friendly with a lot of people in the society already, and regularly attend rec sessions, so I think I'd be well suited to be a club rep as a familiar face. Also, as a masters student I have had a lot of time to become well acquainted with how the rec is run, and I like to think that I would be approachable to new members.

Hi! My name’s Daisy and I’m running for Club Rep. I absolutely love the community at badminton and would be so happy to have a role in making it just as nice next year. I have made so many friends through the society and want freshers to have the same experience. I also think it’s so important for the society to show women that the environment is inclusive and as a female club rep I think I would do this well! I have helped run a girls only Give it a Go and would love to make these a regular thing next year. Above all I want everyone to enjoy playing badminton on a Sunday and Wednesday and would be there to organise this! As I am going into third year this would be my last chance to be on the committee and I really would love the experience, as the committee this year has shown me just how lovely it can be!!
