I'm Erin, an Ecology and Conservation Biology student entering my final year of study after a placement year. I'm very passionate about all aspects of wildlife and nature, and so am very excited to get involved in a society so dedicated to local biodiversity conservation!

I have a lot of experience volunteering and working with organisations that have a focus on practical conservation - such as The Conservation Volunteers in Leeds, and The Lancashire Wildlife Trust - and thus have a solid understanding of how they are managed. Being in contact with these organisations means I am extremely comfortable working with external partners. I've also worked within teams, both when volunteering and at university, and so will be a strong asset to the committee through my ability to communicate effectively with other members.

Furthermore, I will be committed to attending and helping to facilitate all events possible. My time at university and on placement have also required me to be highly organised, so I would ensure that all external and internal documentation and administration is completed accurately and on time so that all events can run successfully.
