Hello! I’m Josh, an upcoming third year Business Management student and a dedicated member of the Art Society. Over the past year, I’ve developed a strong connection with this community. From life drawing sessions to socials, I’ve truly enjoyed being part of it all. What’s stood out most to me is the warm, welcoming atmosphere and the enthusiasm that everyone brings to the society.

Although life drawing was new to me, it’s helped me improve my skills and deepened my interest in art. I’ve been passionate about art since GCSE, with experience in a variety of mediums such as acrylics, oils and tonal drawing. My artistic inspirations include Frida Kahlo, Salvador Dalí and Hajime Sorayama. Recently, my work has explored themes of surrealism and futurism, with a strong focus on experimenting with colour.

I’m really excited about the opportunity to contribute more actively to the society as Social Media Secretary. With my creative background and interest in digital design, I’d love to bring fresh energy to our Instagram presence by making it more vibrant, engaging and reflective of the amazing work our members do. I'm also looking forward to getting to know more of you next year and continuing to grow our artistic community together.
