General Committee Member
The role of the General Committee Member is a general support role. This role is intended to be held by either a member who has not held a role on the committee before, to give them some experience with being on committee, or a member, who has experienced being on the committee, to give advice to other committee members who may not be as experienced.
The roles and responsibilities of the General Committee Member include:
- supporting the other members of the committee in the running of the society in accordance with the stated aims and objectives as outlined in the constitution
- taking on responsibilities from other committee members if they are unable to fulfil their roles or if a committee position is unfilled after the AGM, unless it is a Core Officer role. This should only be a temporary measure until a new committee member is elected
