President

The specific roles and responsibilities of the President include:

- organising and overseeing the running of the society

- charing Committee Meetings, AGMs and EGMs

- ensuring the production of an annual report

- ensuring the production and distribution of an agenda for Committee Meetings, AGMs and EGMs

- ensuring the continued running of the society where committee members cannot fulfil their roles once elected for their committee term

- support the Secretary in ensuring the email account is checked regularly and emails are replied to where necessary

- liaising with LUU about matters arising from the society, this may include queries and complaints

- filling in and submitting SSAGO Nights Away Notification Forms, Adventurous Activity Notification Forms and other relevant forms when required

- ensuring that a scrapbook/yearbook of LUUSAG socials and events is created by the end of the academic year
