The Welfare Officer must:
- Ensure that members feel safe and comfortable within the society
- Support the Core Officers in ensuring the Society is taking steps to diversify its membership
- Advise the Committee about possible impacts of activities from an equality and inclusion perspective
- Signpost members to LUU Support Services should concerns or issues arise, including being subject to disciplinary measures by the Committee
- Support the Core Committee members
