My name is Amy, i'm a second year Ancient History student, and i am running for the role of Social Secetary for the Classics Society next year.

As Social Sec, i will make sure the usual fun society events, like Classic Teas, craft nights, and pub quizzes run smoothly and welcome any ideas for new events, to cater to everybodies interests! I will publicise the societies events on time on the Instagram page and Whats app group, making sure to effectively communicate with both members and the rest of the committee. I aim to promote a friendly environment where members can enjoy a range of activities, get involved, and feel welcomed in the society.

Hi, I'm Eva, a First-Year Ancient History Student, and I’m running to make sure our socials are the highlight of everyone’s week.

I want to create a society that’s fun, inclusive, and genuinely welcoming, especially for freshers who might find socials a bit daunting at first. From group chats to friendly faces, I’ll make sure no one feels left out.

Expect a mix of everything: themed nights out (yes, a toga party is non-negotiable), pub quizzes, Otley runs, bowling, murder mystery nights, and creative socials like pot painting and mosaics. Whether you love a big night out or something more chilled, there’ll be something for you.

I’m organised, full of ideas, and always open to suggestions, so your voice will shape what we do. Most importantly, I’ll put real effort into making every event fun, memorable, and worth turning up for.
