Hi everyone, my name is Alanna and I’m first year student doing Economics. I have been an active member of LUBS since the beginning of the year and in particular, I am drawn toward the social aspect of our society. I recognise that it’s crucial to maintaining accessibility of information for both current members and potential ones. I, for one, found LUBS through its social media page so I wish for a similar promotional approach to continue. I am proficient at maintaining and having access to all social media. In particular I have been able to post several TikTok’s with relatively high success, with one video reaching as high as over one million views, and several others in the high hundred thousands. I have also managed several types social media accounts throughout the years, including my sixth form’s ‘Young Enterprise’ contribution. I won’t brag either, but I’ve actually been on several newspapers and news stations myself as a baby, so you could say I’ve been exposed to the fame side of marketing for most of my life. Who else is so experienced?

My goal is to make LUBS as visible as possible, by encouraging all our social platforms on an equal basis and ensuring that, through a close partnership with the design sec, we reach the society’s full potential. Whether this means certain pages need more attention or perhaps a little rework, then I’m willing to put in the effort! Or if certain aspects need more promotion, due to their importance, such as key opportunities, then I promise I’m diligent and quick to post.
