Hello fellow LUBS students. I am a second-year Economics and Finance student and I believe my course has perfectly prepared me to be the LUBS treasurer, where I can apply my knowledge and previous experiences to ensure the finances of the society are managed better than ever before. These experiences range, from on a smaller scale when managing my university spending to a larger scale when I enjoyed my time at Schroders as a spring intern. The increased level of financial management I will bring to the society will allow for our events to be executed to a greater quality, utilising our budget, than before. I am dedicated to being a high-quality treasurer for LUBS and hope I can get your vote and make sure we are in safe financial hands.

Hi, my name is Sam, I am a first year economics student who regularly attends LUBS events. If elected for Chief Financial Officer I would ensure the societies budget is managed responsibly, allowing for society members to get the most out of their events. I would keep track of all incomes and expenditures and would be an active member of the LUBS board and society. As an Economics student, I have experience relevant to keeping budget sheets, having done work experience at Henley Investment, where I saw how budgets are kept on a large scale. Having also kept a tight budget for 7 months whilst I travelled. Overall I believe I would be a great Chief Financial Officer for LUBS next year.
