Hi my names Lucy and I’m running for social sec this year! I am currently a second year psychology student and would love to take a bigger role in psycsoc. I believe that being part of a society is one of the best ways to meet new people, firm friendships and experience uni life. I have met some great friends through socials and had so much fun visiting new places. I want to make our society a place where everyone feels welcome, particularly for students to have a break from work, have some fun and also a place for freshers to feel like they are welcome in their new potentially scary environment. I also hope to be able to incorporate more sober socials allowing everyone to feel they can get involved! I love a night out, meeting others and I have lots of ideas on how to create fun social themes that get everyone involved.

Hi everyone, my name is Issy and I am nominating myself to be the Social Sec for the second year in a row! I am currently one of the Social Secretaries but have only been in the position since January due to stepping into the role at a later date. I have loved being a part of the Psychology committee and have really enjoyed my role as Social Sec, so I'd love to experience it for another year in full! I am very friendly, love meeting new people and I am always down for a night out! I have loads of good ideas to offer and would love to be considered for the role!
