I am excited to apply for the role of Treasurer for the Commercial Awareness Society, as I believe my strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and passion for commercial understanding make me an ideal candidate for this position. As a second-year Business student at the University of Leeds, I have gained significant experience in managing finances and working with different stakeholders, which I am eager to bring to the society.

During my time as the president of my residence social committee, I managed budgets, tracked expenses, and worked closely with a team to ensure the smooth financial operation of events. This experience has honed my ability to maintain accurate financial records, prepare reports, and allocate resources effectively. Additionally, my previous work experience as a social media intern, where I used tools like Mailchimp for database management, has enhanced my ability to organize data and communicate effectively with diverse groups.

I am highly motivated to further develop my commercial awareness through the Commercial Awareness Society and to support its activities with a transparent, efficient, and accountable approach to financial management. I understand the importance of clear budgeting, financial planning, and regular reporting to ensure the society’s success and sustainability.

I am confident that my skills, along with my passion for contributing to the society’s growth, will enable me to fulfill the responsibilities of Treasurer effectively.
