Hello everyone, my name is Darshan and I am a 2nd year medical student. Studying clinical pathology in medical school has helped me to develop an interest in the specialty. I want to build on this interest by being part of the PERKS committee as a Clinical Years Rep.

I believe that I am well suited for this role as I have had experience in being part of a committee this year in Leeds Medics and Dentists Badminton Club (LMDBC), as Secretary and Men's Captain. This involves handling any admin related to the club, organising sessions for the club to practice playing badminton, and sending out official communication to advertise and promote events in the society through avenues such as WhatsApp and Google Forms, notifying members and non-members of any event taking place.

Hey there, I'm Nikita! Having served as a representative for societies like BrainLeeds and Access to Medicine, I understand the importance of staying connected in group chats and reaching out directly to different year groups to spread the word about societies.

I've had an interest in pathology and research for a while now, and that passion has only grown stronger during my time in medical school. I want to share that excitement with others!
