* KEY: Experienced in BP style of debating and / or competitions necessary for this role.

As the Competitions Officer of the Debating Union, you are responsible to:

- Train members in British Parliament style of debating

- Organise and lead teams to competitions

- Lead and judge internal competition sessions

- Encourage new members to join competitive debating

(Resources from prior competitions officer will be provided to aid internal competition training sessions.) 

One officer does the competitive debates and the other sorts out the weekly workshop sessions. Both work together to organise debate competitions.
