Post-Graduate Students’ Representative

Postgraduate Student's Representative - MUST be a postgraduate student

Will work as part of the Student Affairs Team alongside the International Students' Representative and under the guidance of the Head of Student Affairs.

The Student Affairs Team shall be responsible for:

a. Ensuring the views of a wide-reaching Muslim student population are heard and addressed where required;

b. Working with LUU and the University of Leeds to provide a safe and comfortable space for Muslim students to share their views and practice their faith;

c. Encouraging Members to integrate into the wider community through community projects and collaborations;

d. Communicating with the different cultural societies where a large demographic are Muslim students.

e. Overseeing the development and maintenance of an Alumni Network.

g. In addition, the Post-Graduate Students’ Representative shall be responsible for ensuring for the needs of Postgrad Students on campus are brought forward and measures are taken to address them as well as creating a welcome environment for their respective needs.
