Hi! I’m Emily, a 2nd Year English Language and Linguistics student. I have been part of VF for 2 years. You probably know my face from teaching in classes or from my role in this years committee as Lead Class Rep.
My favourite thing about VF is the love and appreciation it gives us for our own bodies and the amazing things they can do!
Aerial arts and pole has been my great love for a huge portion of my life, which is why VF is such an irreplaceable part of my University journey.
This year I have gotten involved with as many aspects of VF as possible; as an instructor, on committee, from attending classes and socials to performing in showcase. I believe this has given me a good understanding on how the society works. This gives me the ability to ensure our society can continue to run as safely, efficiently and enjoyable as always.
I am a well organised, enthusiastic person with a wealth of knowledge and experience in our Sport, that I seek to share with as many people as possible.
I work well in a team and always try to lend a helping hand when I can.
This society is a safe space for myself as well as lots of you, If I am afforded the chance to be co-president, I will make it my goal to continue the beautiful community we have all created, sharing my love for the sport and society in every way I can, and contributing to its growth and your Uni experience!
