A committee member should be passionate about the sport, as well as sharing these passions with others, which i can confidently say I do! I’m organised and communicative and would like to commit to giving members of the society the same brilliant experience I had as a first year coming into it.

I’m looking to join the general committee as I’ve been a member of the society for a year now and have loved it so far as it has helped me to feel confident and strong! After helping at the poleathon I saw the community within the society and decided I’d like to be able to help out more when I can!

Since joining Vertical Fitness, it’s safe to say I’ve become a bit of an enthusiast! I’ve completely fallen in love with the society’s positive energy and inclusive atmosphere. I’m proud to be part of a society that gives 110%, and I’d love the opportunity to give back by supporting the committee and my fellow members. I bring a bubbly, approachable energy with strong organisational skills, and I'm always happy to help and ready to give it my all. I enjoy working collaboratively and would love to be more involved, meet new people, and help create a welcoming, engaging environment for everyone.

My Name is Lucy, I am a first year mental health student and I would love to be part of general committee for vertical fitness.

I started vertical fitness this year and have grown not only in my arial skills but also as a person in my confidence from this society.

I would love to be apart of the vertical fitness committee to help bring that joy and confidence to others, and show that vertical fitness is for everyone no matter who you are!

I'm a 2nd year Mechatronics and Robotics student and only joined VF in September, but I've really enjoyed my time.
I mainly do pole and had so much fun performing in the showcase and coming out my shell.
I want to help the showcase rep, and ensure smooth communications with Backstage. I had a great time as Lighting Designer for the LUU Dance show and Production Manager for the Intercomp. I've also stage managed for Expose and VF; having been a techie and a dancer, I understand both sides of a showcase. If it happens again, I'd love to organise us for Leeds Fringe too.
I was the Backstage New Members' rep last year, and gained experience supporting committees while I am the Equipment and Training Office this year.
An organised society runs smoothly, so I'd want to keep up the inventory and assist the treasurer, to maintain equipment.

I've really enjoyed going to socials this year. The sober socials ones have been chill, and I've always been looked after, at the alcoholic socials. I want to do my part and be the sober person helping.

As one of the few guys, I'd want to be a friendly face during freshers, so everyone knows they are welcome to join.

Hey guys, I’m Kemi and I’m running for general committee for vertical fitness society. I am a second year student studying biotechnology with enterprise and I’ve been in this society since September 2023.

Being a part of vertical fitness has been amazing and I would love to be part of general committee to help support the society and help with setting up the equipment for classes so that they can run smoothly. I have met such great people in this society and I want to give back to this society as everyone has showed me nothing but kindness. I am a fun, friendly person who is easy to talk to so any questions you may have about this society, I am more than happy to help you! :)
