Competition Secretary (previously women's/men's captain)
- Keep, organise and hand wash all competition leotards, distribute these at competitions and order more leotards from A Star if and when is needed.
- Have a good understanding of the sport and how competitinos are set up and run.
- Complete theUGC juding course (basic gymanstics judging course and exam) to be able to judge at UGC competitions
- Attend all competitions (if you can't ensure another committee member is available to fulfil your responsbilities)
- Encourage members to compete and make sure they're supported all the way (in training and at the comp)
- Coordinate all gymnasts for competitions
- Ensure routines are all correct and signed off by the coaches - collate all start value sheets for all UGC and BUCS comps and ensure floor music is submitted on time
- Coordinate necessary competitions with Beckett and Leeds Coaches
- Ensure at competitions all info is communicated (eg. timings, car travel etc)
- Communicate with Training Sec and assist them at training
- Ensure competitions as well as training is as inclusive as possible and that every members has a equal opportunity to be included regardless of skill, gender, age, race etc.
