The 1st team Captain is responsible for managing and leading 1st team. This role requires a passionate individual with excellent communication, leadership, and organisational skills. The captain's primary responsibility is to ensure the team's success by organising training, selecting the team, coordinating with the university union and preparing for competitive BUCS fixtures.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Organising Training: The 1st captain of the university golf team is responsible for organising regular training sessions for the team.
2. Picking the Team: The captain is responsible for selecting the team that will represent the university in BUCS fixtures.
3. Coordinating with the University Union: The captain should liaise with the university union to ensure all fixtures are correct on BUCS with enough tee times booked.
4. BUCS Individual Event: The captain is respoonsible for entering relevant players into BUCS Individual events.
