Only active members of Make A Smile can vote in this election

The role of the Wellbeing Officer to ensure that the voice of the members is heard on committee. It is recommended that the Wellbeing Officer implement a wellbeing programme and a widening access policy. The Wellbeing Officer should ensure that there is a way for the members to voice concerns to them. Finally the Wellbeing Officer will be expected to assist the President and Vice President with committee responsibilities.”

As the only voted role on committee, the Wellbeing Officers have a responsibility to put forward and act in the interests of the members to ensure that the committee is acting in ways the members want. There are a number of ways they can do this to ensure that they themselves know what the members want such as talking to members or feedback forms. As a part of this, they also have to be available for the members to talk to about any issues or concerns they may have, be it about Make a Smile or life in general. These can then be reported back to the President if necessary. This can be via anonymous forms or making communication open to them in whichever mode is easiest.
