I am a passionate padel player and socialiser. It can be difficult to find the balance between focusing on technique and dropping game during a padel session on a Sunday evening when you’re violently hungover. That’s why I believe having regular socials (non-alcohol and alcohol) can help one find the balance. Let’s just say when you’re a 24 hour hype man sometimes your padel game takes a hit. But I feel my role as social sec will allow players to focus on the game and technique during Sunday sessions but know they have a mega social lined up in the calendar where they can get super looseeee. Furthermore, I am pretty good at recruiting people to join padel as I know what a great community we have and am not scared to shout about it.

My aims for next year will be:
Increase frequency of socials to at least 3 a month
Include more non alcohol ones like Yorkshire 3 peaks, pizza/curry nights, pub quiz.
Potential for tournament collabs with Leeds padel!
Setting a day for socials like fruity Fridays.
Also potential for mischief/fruiy codes using my hype man skills to attain.

To conclude I think I have the social skills and determination to be the best social sec taking this society even further in the worsley award. I aim to make LMDP great padel players who can work hard on and off the court!
