Hi, I am Yas!! 🤪

As the previous treasurer of the society, I have helped to set up a strong foundation for the upcoming year.

I have a long history with the club and even attended the first ever #GIAG!!🤓

I’m organised and laid back, and I am looking forward to working with the committee to ensure our sessions are organised and run smoothly for everyone.

I like to work hard both on and off the court but my main aim is to ensure people get to play, have fun and even learn. An itinerary of the terms sessions is also something I would like to employ. This means we can plan events further ahead, so you know when and where you need to be (obviously at padel).

I hope to arrange various charity events and collaborations with other societies this year to further expand our society. I aim to continue our fabulous tournament prizes (which were more than just a medal!)! Club merch will hopefully be on the way this year!😎 (YEAH YEAH!!). Termly memberships are something I am pushing for, to allow newcomers an opportunity to try the sport without the commitment of buying a yearly membership or one-off non-member prices.

Next year, I feel it is important to keep prices consistent with both sessions and socials to ensure they are more accessible to everyone to further expand the society- could there be an extra mid-week session in the works?

Finally, I’d like to keep a firm but fair policy regarding foul-play: NO PAY, NO PLAY!
