Social Media Officer:

The Social Media Officer will work as part of the Marketing Team alongside the Publicity Officer and Video Production Officer and under the guidance of the Head of Marketing.

The Marketing Team shall be responsible for:

a. Producing quality media to promote and showcase the work of the ISoc, and

b. Managing all external platforms including social media, the website, and the prayer rooms (from a marketing aspect).

c. In addition, the Social Media Officer will be responsible for:

i. Manging and regularly posting content on the Islamic Society social media platforms at appropriate times, including, Facebook, Instagram, Twitter and Snapchat;

ii. Replying to any messages from the social media platforms, or forwarding them, when necessary, to the Head of Marketing; and

iii. Engaging the committee team to ensure maximum social media publicity for ISoc events and activities
