Hi guys... hope you like the short stories haha!
I just want to start by saying that I really love this basketball society, and I have met so many wonderful people through being a part of it. I want to continue the good vibes of this year into next year keeping our society thriving, and ensure everyone at socials and training feels welcomed and supported, but most importantly everyone has a good time on and off the court. I used to teach dance at home, planning the lessons and making sure they were all doing well. So, I feel that I am very qualified for this role in the society.
I am a committed Wednesday social attendee and enjoy going to devs training too, I feel more confident each week with them bball skills. I know how fun the thirds vs birds match was (thanks erin) and I would love to have a hand in organising the charity match, getting some cool sponsors to raise the money... and once again just for everyone to enjoy it!

Showing up to the basketball trials in September was my best decision this year. This society is bursting at the seams with community and spirit and as community secretary I’d strive to honour, maintain and further that legacy. Camaraderie is at the heart of the society and whether it's on or off the court, we are a team (cheesy but let me cook).

I know being new to the sport can be really daunting and I want to make the society comfortable for newbs and pros alike. I’d love to be the friendly face you can chat to if you’ve any worries or recommendations or questions (or just love to yap) and will ensure the society brings as much joy and good vibes to everyone as it has done for me this year.

With Birds vs. Thirds being the success that it was I am really looking forward to planning the charity event of the year. In school, I organised various fundraisers and would love to be given the opportunity to bring all of us together for a good time and a good cause.
