My name is Ebony Lane-Searle, and I am running for the role of Social Secretary for this society. As a die-hard metalhead, I believe in the power of music to break boundaries, connect souls, and bring together those who share a passion for the unrelenting power and intensity of rock. I can’t think of a better way to bring our community together than by creating unforgettable, high-energy experiences. Here’s why I’m the right person to take our social scene to the next level.

If elected, I promise to:
Foster a welcoming environment- ensure that every member feels valued and included, regardless of their background or experience.
Encourage engagement- organise events and activities that cater to diverse interests and give everyone a chance to connect, learn and grow.
Collaborate and innovate- work closely with other committee members and society members to bring fresh ideas and initiatives to life, ensuring we are always evolving and improving.
Represent your voice- act as a reliable channel for feedback, ensuring the society’s direction aligns with the needs and desires of its members

I am eager to bring my skills, ideas, and enthusiasm to the role and help make RockSoc an even more dynamic and impactful part of our university experience. As a member of the Rock Society, I will be approachable, open to ideas, and committed to creating an environment where everyone feels like they belong. I want to amplify the energy of our society and take it to new heights. With your support, we can turn the volume up and make this society a louder, prouder community on campus!
