As social media officer you are responsible for running our active Instagram and Facebook pages, and other forms of promotion.

The position includes: 

- Creating content for the social media pages and keeping them active

- Posting our weekly HRRUs and reminding people of our next meetings

- Keeping followers updated on human rights events and local events of interest

- Promoting our events effectively across all social media platforms, in person and through email, groups, etc.

- Responding to DMs, especially important as more people like to reach out via DM rather than email
