What’s good you beauties, I’m back for a 2nd year in a row. After a successful year with the club from the support of all members (especially my team of committees), I want to continue to keep the ball rolling for the upcoming 24/25 season so I’ll cut to the chase for a few things I’d like to work towards:

1. Getting suitable and more convenient ice time for the club to have our weekly trainings
2. Getting ice time earlier in September for returning members
3. Having more coaches to make trainings higher quality
4. Making an established Women’s Team at the start of the year
5. Making a D team so that other teams can move up to the next level (eg. C team playing in the league)
6. Hockey based socials (eg. Watching professional games live, training camps) and Non-hockey socials (eg. Team bonding trips, Otley runs, partnerships with other clubs [eg. surf, snowriders, figure skating])
7. Organising a charity fundraiser for a cause
8. Livestream and photographers for all home games
9. 2nd team/Women’s Varsity
10. More club kit/equipment for returning/new players to borrow temporarily

These are my main plans and are not limited to just these ones. Based off this and my past experiences, I can assure you that the club’s interest is one of my top priorities in my university life. Therefore, I will do everything I can to help you and the club as a whole, to thrive and enjoy the experience of being part of such a unique community playing the coolest sport in the world.
