Hello! I'm Amalie, and I am excited to apply for the role of Events Officer!

I am passionate about bringing people together through engaging, inclusive, and well-organised events. With strong organisational skills and a creative mindset, I’m confident in my ability to plan and deliver events and workshops that reflect the values and goals of our society.

I have experience in event planning, from coordinating small workshops to supporting larger-scale gatherings, and I understand the importance of clear communication, attention to detail, and planning.

I look forward to working closely with the Communications Officer to promote our events effectively, ensuring we reach as many members of TG as possible!

If elected, I will listen keenly to member inquiries and ideas, collaborate closely with the committee, and ensure our events are exciting, inclusive, and memorable!

Hi! My name is Ellie and I am running to be your TG Events Officer this year!

As a first year, I know how intimidating getting involved with theatre at uni can be and as events officer I aim to create opportunities for people to get involved and dip their toes into TG in a welcoming space.

My first introduction to TG was Page2Stage which was so fun and I’d love to have the opportunity to put this event on again for people interested in theatre! As someone who was an actor in this, I know what needs to be improved and how to make it a good experience for those participating.

I consider myself to be a very organised person and I love a spreadsheet. I am good at writing emails and communicating effectively with multiple people. I am currently shadow producing Tick…Tick…Boom! And have learned so much about keeping organised and planning things. It is also something I really enjoy and would put lots of work into making sure events are run smoothly.

I’d like to bring in interesting people to give workshops on different topics to keep TG interesting throughout the year and make sure that people not involved in shows feel they have a place in the TG community.
