As the charity secretary for LUUNC, you will be in charge of organising a variety of fundraising charity events and challenges, and helping out with collecting money. The role essentially involves encouraging club members to donate and to raise as much possible for whatever the cause is. Such events include girls night in, the charity netball tournament, the half marathon as well as raffles for both the Christmas and EOYD.

For this role, you need to be able to work with others, enthusiastic, organised and confident. You will work closely with both the events and sponsorship secs so working with others is definitely essential!! Not only is this job incredibly rewarding, but it looks good on your CV. Although it can be difficult at times, it is relatively easy to balance with uni work and training.
