Transport Sec’s role is to book the coaches to all away games for every team, every week. The coaches are booked a week in advance, and this booking process is done through an online form submitted to the Union, (the Union then book the coaches for us). The role requires frequent communication with the union, and also with the LUUNC Fixtures sec. Transport Sec’s role is straight forward and not time consuming in comparison to some of the other committee positions, and can just become a part of your weekly routine. However, the importance of the role should not be understated, it does require someone who is organised, good at managing their time, and committed. All in all, it is a great role, that allows you to practice transferrable skills (that will look great on your CV, and in applications!)
