Sponsorship secretary involves forming relationships with businesses to gain money or benefits for the club. It is a great role if you want to get the bulk of the work done at one time. You need to be able to continue the relationship with our key sponsors and I’m hoping it will be a bit easier for you next year as businesses are back up and running post Covid. At the moment our main sponsor is Pickard properties but we have good relationships with RPP and Popworld.

I’d say the main skills you need to have include good organisation, good communication and being confident speaking to strangers.

I’d definitely recommend going for this role if your course has a lot of contact hours. You’re still super involved with the day to day running of the club with the rest of committee!
