As social media sec you are in charge of all the main social media platforms that promote and boost Leeds uni netball. Your role would be to make the Instagram, Facebook, twitter and tiktok accounts accessible and easy to navigate while making it look pretty in whichever way you want! You are also in charge of the website (yes we do in fact have one). This tends to be done at the beginning of the year to update the committee page and renew all the dates and information for the foreseeable year. You'll also be linked to the "contact us" section, so remember to check your emails regularly. Another aspect of media sec is the gathering and posting on the Facebook of the match reports. It is slightly tedious to be running after reports on a Sunday evening but they are very enjoyable to read through and allow all your parents who can’t watch get a sense of how your weekly games go :)

Overall media sec is a very enjoyable and lower maintenance role compared to some others, if you are wanting to be on committee but are worried about the work loads. This role also looks very impressive on your CV in this new world of advanced technology - I highly recommend.
