This year we need to make squash BIG. Big enough to get the tennis players turning their heads. And with paddle on the rise we have more competition than ever before. Let’s give the other racket societies a run for their money.

I’m here to bring the best squashing opportunities to your doorstep. I’m talking bigger, better and more frequent internal tournaments open to players of all standards.

I have been an active member of squash society this year, regularly attending training, socials and more recently, rec sessions. After attending the christmas tournament, I realised that something I wanted to see more of in the society is opportunity for competition for those not on any of the teams.

After all though, this is our society, not my society, so I’m inviting you lot to discuss what you would like to see brought to the table over the course of the coming year.
- Internal leagues??? Handicap tourneys?? LUU on tour?
