Hi, my name is Delilah, and I am thrilled to submit my candidacy social media manager of bpm Society. I’ve always loved garage/electronic music, and after enjoying the mixing workshops that bpm hosted this term, I have finally began mixing myself. Bpm has opened a door for me, I’ve expanded my musical knowledge and have had the pleasure of meeting so many lovely people. It’s a wonderful society and I am eager to use my skills and experience to amplify the presence of our society within the university community and beyond!
I am a first-year art and design student; and I specialise in graphic design. I create a lot of the social media posts for The School of Design society and have worked in a small team to help regenerate it. This has taught me a lot about social media content creation, specifically about making promotional videos using Adobe express. I have an art/graphics Instagram which I use as a portfolio, feel free look! (@printsbydee).
I am a very approachable person and understand I will be working with other people like the events manager to create posts and manage the account. I have a strong creative vision for the account and would love to brainstorm these ideas with other committee members. My goal is to see our DJ Society thrive and flourish, continuing to make it a welcoming space for people who are passionate about music.
