General Committee
General committee is a pretty chilled role. There are no specific responsibilities other than making sure trip sheets are filled out for every trip and organising our first aid event in semester 1 and navigation sessions in semester 2. The beauty is you can be involved as much as you like so it's great for someone with less time to commit.
Gen Com will also be expected to help out with admin tasks as and when required, such as university room bookings for club events or committee meetings and anything else the rest of the committee may need help with. It may help if you have experience of being on a committee before or if you have a lot of hiking experience as this role often has an advisory element to it. Best of all, you will be able to have an input to all the big decisions but not have the responsibility for carrying them out!
