Having been on Psyched for many years, including in a presidential role, I have lots of experience of networking with psychiatrists, and planning and running successful events. In these roles, finances have always been an important factor to consider. Making decisions according to our budgets and fundraising to further support ourselves has equipped me with the confidence of being an effective treasurer. As VP of MSRC, I also understand how the finances of Medical societies work in regard to LUU and MSRC, which is beneficial when making financial decisions. My previous roles also mean that I am fully aware of the expense system and have previously supported committee members in using the system. Generally as a committee member I am dedicated and strive for success. We have managed to run many successful events this year with Psyched, including MedFest and Speed Dating. I hope to continue to work with our amazing committee to run even more events in the coming year!!
