Hi! I'm Rachel and I am one of this year's social secretaries and currently training to be an assistant instructor! Whilst I've only been kickboxing for around 1.5 years, my love of kickboxing and passion for this club has grown immensely in that time. I'm always happy to help out, whether that's organising events, delegating tasks or supporting new members.

I am a third-year Business and Chinese student; through the Business School, I have developed a deep and extensive understanding of running a business. I understand that societies are not only about the community and social aspects but also about the finances that keep them running. I know what it takes to fund and budget for this club so that it not only survives but thrives.

I am highly committed to helping organise and run this club at the highest level. I know the ins and outs of the club and what it takes to maintain and improve this society to give it the recognition it deserves. I really want to provide the same welcoming happy environment that has been felt in previous years, that I myself felt when I joined alone in my first year. This club gave me a purpose, just like it did for all of you. I understand how important this club is to so many people, I will not let you guys and myself down. I will give back what this club gave me and more.

This will be my final year at Uni of Leeds, and I want to leave feeling proud and fulfilled, knowing that I have left a positive impact on the University and this Kickboxing Community that has given me so much.
