Hello, my name is Sam Swain and I am running for Treasurer of the Kickboxing Society.

As an economics student, I am financially literate, and accountancy modules have equipped me with the skills to manage funds, process payments, and apply for funding. Additionally, as a member of the Plus Programme, I know first-hand how expensive training can get. Having gone through the process of applying for support myself, I understand how it works, and can guide others through it as well.

I’m friendly, approachable, and at almost every class - it's easy for members to come to me for support. Being treasurer would be a great opportunity to learn transferable skills, whilst also supporting the club's growth and financial stability.

I would love the opportunity to be Treasurer for the society, and I'd greatly appreciate your vote!

Hi everyone, my name is Matt Jones, and I am applying for the Treasurer position on the society committee.

I am currently a first year economics student and have a strong understanding of financial management and accounting methods. I have experience in managing finances, having held monthly and annual budgetary responsibilities in previous part time job roles.

I am highly reliable, someone you can trust, and committed to giving back more than is expected of me. More importantly, I am a friendly and approachable person always looking to engage with others and offering help whenever I can.

I would love the opportunity to give back to the society and people that give so much to me each week. I have found a new passion within kickboxing and am committed to seeing the society grow. If elected as treasurer I would dedicate myself to this role and would work hard to support the society’s long term growth.
