Howdy gang!

The time has come for us to pass on the baton to you all and, as bittersweet as this feels, we want to leave this society, which has been running since 2009, in the best hands possible for the 2023/24 year.

Roles

1. President – This person will oversee most parts of the society. They will be involved in running events, promoting the society, managing the open decks, and keeping things running with regular meetings. We have had past presidents go on to do amazing things both locally in the Leeds scene and beyond. If you're passionate about inclusion and propelling the society forward while providing as many access opportunities as possible for students of universities in Leeds and affiliate members, this is the role for you. 
2. Vice President – This role consists of supporting the president in ensuring the smooth running of the society. They will organise and keep track of meetings but also have a role in running events.
3. Secretary – The secretary maintains membership records, produce agenda documents for all meetings and maintains written records of all meetings
4. Treasurer – The individual responsible for the monetary assets of the society. If anything needs to be paid for whether it’s space rental or equipment hire, this is who will be sorting that out.
5. Radio Managers (x2) – Keeping people locked in on a weekly or bi-weekly radio show, with a multitude of different guests and music. These people work closely with LSR, with whom we won a Riley Award for out collaboration this year. A perfect role for anybody wanting to improve their DJing skills and get regular practice and exposure on radio. There are two positions available.
6. Events Managers (x2) – Another very important role, the events managers organise society events and socials. Whether that's an open deck night, club night or DJ workshops, being an events manager is a curative role! There are two positions available.
