Dear Members of Leeds RAG,

I am excited to put forward my candidacy for the role of Events Coordinator. With a deep-rooted passion for organising impactful events and a strong commitment to our community, I am eager to contribute to Leeds RAG's mission of fundraising and advocacy.

As Events Coordinator, my primary focus will be on orchestrating our signature events like Take Me Out and First Dates, ensuring they continue to be highlights that engage our community and support our partner charities. These events not only raise vital funds but also foster a spirit of unity and support among our members.

Recruitment of a dedicated events sub-committee is essential to our success. I am committed to assembling a team of enthusiastic individuals who share our vision and empowering them to bring their creativity and organizational skills to our events. I will provide mentorship and guidance to ensure their efforts are aligned with our goals.

Effective communication and collaboration are at the core of my approach. I will maintain regular communication with the RAG president and union, fostering strong relationships to enhance our impact and resource utilization.

I am enthusiastic about the opportunity to serve as Events Coordinator and contribute to the legacy of Leeds RAG. Together, let's continue to make a meaningful difference in our community and beyond.
