I have had a great time taking part in many societies and attending many society socials so have plenty of ideas I could use for all members to enjoy as a social secretary. My name is Bhavya Sadani, and I am a 3rd year Business student at the University of Leeds. I am thrilled to announce my candidacy for the position of Social Secretary in the Raise and Give (RAG) Society.

The role of Social Secretary is pivotal in shaping the vibrant social fabric of our society. It involves organizing engaging events for our members, fostering camaraderie among committee members through exclusive social activities, and ensuring seamless communication and coordination with the university for necessary permits. These responsibilities align perfectly with my skills and passions.

I have actively participated in various volunteering sessions, which have enriched my understanding of the diverse needs and interests of our members. My experiences have equipped me with strong organizational and communication skills, essential for planning and executing successful events. I am committed to creating inclusive and enjoyable experiences for everyone in our society.

As a Business student, I have developed a strategic mindset and a knack for problem-solving. I understand the importance of effective communication and meticulous planning in executing successful events. If elected, I will prioritize transparent communication with the university to ensure all events comply with regulations and run smoothly. I will also work closely with our committee to brainstorm innovative ideas that reflect our society’s values and mission.
