Hey all, I'm Howard and I'm a second year environmental science student and hopeful future social sec of the greatest society in Leeds. The socials this year have already been incredible but I want to keep the fun going next year. Wednesdays are the highlight of my week and if you want them to also be the highlight of yours then vote for me. We'll make sure to keep the classics going whilst also bringing along some fun new ideas to spice up your weeks. I've met some of my closest mates through climbing and with it naturally being such a social sport it will be a guaranteed good time next year!! Heyyy!! I'm Hannah and I'd be super excited to be chosen as one of your social secs next year. I've had the best time being a part of climbing this year and Wednesday evenings are easily the highlight of my week (and the downfall of my degree oops!). Next year, I'd love to continue the weekly packhorse fun, with karaoke nights and pub quizzes as well as the traditional ceilidh, otley runs and house party (apologies future house mates). I’ve also got a couple of my own ideas to bring a new twist to the Wednesday chaos such as packhorse speed dating, come dine with me evenings and a weekly night out for those who want to continue on after the pub, as well as some chilled crafty socials, Sunday sports (in summer obvs) and bored game nights.

Climbing society is easily one of the most welcoming and friendly societies in Leeds and one that has allowed me to meet some of my best pals at uni so far. If I was elected as a social sec I would hope to keep up such an inclusive and friendly environment within the society so that all members, both new and old, feel as excited as I did to come along to socials, trips and depot sessions and meet some awesome new friends.
