Hey team, I’m Fraser and I’m running for President. Backstage Society has been one of the absolute highlights of my time at Leeds – I’ve learnt so much (and still do on a regular basis) as well as meeting some brilliant people in the process.

I have worked on a lot of shows with Backstage (as a result of questionable time allocation), as well as with a variety of performance societies; this has given me a wide range of technical experience and a great look into how different societies are run.

The shows that Backstage produce are consistently of a high standard and I am very keen on ensuring this continues in future – to guarantee this I pledge to improve the shadow/advisor scheme for designer roles. This will both allow incoming members to undertake new roles, as well as for established members to pass on their wealth of knowledge.

I hope that members both new and current can have the same incredible experience as I’ve had, and by voting for Fraser as President we can secure this for all members. Fras 4 Pras!
