Hey everyone, I’m Asher and I’m the 23/24 secretary. Being secretary, I have been in charge of all of the administrative work that keeps the society running. I’ve also been the Publicity and Communications Secretary in 22/23. Some of you might also know me as the long term LUU Dance comp/show production manager (4 shows! I know I will stop) At the beginning of the year, I really struggled to pick up the secretary’s jobs as I didn’t have someone to consult. If elected as open seat, I would really like to guide and assist the incoming secretary and make sure they are comfortable and settled in their new responsibilities. With my experience as both an executive and non-executive member, I have a lot of knowledge I would love to share with the new committee. Aside from advising, I would also like to actively take on the role to assume responsibilities of any committee members when required and make sure nobody gets too overwhelmed. I believe I have so much to offer to the new committee and the society so please vote for me!
