Hello everyone! My name is Bradley. Some of you may know me from being a member of the society for the past few years, but if we have not met yet, I look forward to meeting you when I return to Leeds next year. I want you to vote for me to be the next publicity and communications officer as I believe I have several strong ideas on how to improve our society's social media presence. For example, I would like to post more frequently on Instagram, such as doing department takeovers during shows and educational videos to make our society more accessible. I would also like to create a TikTok account for the society to show off the amazing work we do and provide more content to our followers. Through my degree and previous experience, I have developed the motivation, knowledge and experience to build upon the work of previous publicity officers and improve our social media platforms.

Hi everyone, I’m Liv and I’m running for Publicity and Communications for 2024-2025!

As Publicity and Communications Officer I will keep up the Backstage media presence and run a Backstage Tik Tok account. I currently run the LUUMS Sinfonia Tik Tok page and we get lots of people saying they love the content made, so you can have that for Backstage too! I will also aim to improve engagement and interest by increasing the amount of content released on platforms like Instagram, Tik Tok, Facebook, and also the weekly newsletter. I plan on working closely with Events and Safety & Welfare officers to promote events, training and welfare initiatives across the board. Through Day In The Life style videos or story series I aim to improve the transparency in the society by showing the ins and outs of show weeks for new members as well as the work that goes into designing and production managing to make the leap to these roles easier on first time Designers and PMs. I will also increase outreach to other societies and help them promote their events so that our events can be evenly promoted across LUU and improve our working relationships with other societies.

Long story short: I have a social media addiction and WILL use this to make Backstage a fun and cool place to be!!
